Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. 

Those of you who know me well, may have thought I would be more likely to raise money by making the worlds largest cake - however, to challenge myself, I signed up to run the Colchester Half Marathon on Sunday 27th March 2011.

As you can see, I have chosen to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, a very worthy cause as so many of the lives of those we love are tragically touched by cancer.  In addition to this, and because I work for a very generous company - Britvic Soft Drinks, through the £4£ Charity match scheme, the money that I raise on this page will be matched by Britvic.  I have decided to give the money Britvic donate to Great Ormand Street Hospital, helping them to support children and their families in truly amazing ways.

Once you donate, JustGiving will send your money directly to Macmillan and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.  Once the race is over (and I can move again) I will complete the paperwork from Britvic with the total raised on this page.  So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
