The British Red Cross, a charity incorporated by Royal Charter 1908, helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. And when the crisis is over, we help them to recover and move on with their lives.

Story

For some bizarre reason (mostly to avoid going spherical over the summer) i have decided to run a half marathon in August (19th Isle of Wight) and one in October (7th Windsor) to take me up to the full 26miles, as that is a very long way when you are essentially incapable of  running outside and your legs are only about a foot long, i would love for you all to support me. Oh and im also dragging Mike along to scrape me off the floor.

I know how much you most of you get asked for sponsorship all the time but i'll be running for the Red Cross and I would massively appreciate anything you can give. I know it's asking a lot especially for you students but its ridiculous what the Red Cross can do with even a tiny amount of money. Or, if you donate nothing, or very little, to me it would be amazing if some of you could set up a direct debit to the Red Cross or any other charity of your choice. I know that's a big ask but just imagine giving up one pint a month, a couple of cans of coke or a few chocolate bars and you could genuinely save a life. One pint or a life? Seems like an easy decision to me. If just 10 of the people i ask set up a direct debit of say £4 quid a month it would help so many people.

Sorry to bug you all but the more help the better and worse comes to worst you will probably get to see  some lovely shots of me a beautiful shade of red and that's got to be worth a few quid...

Thank you so so much.
