Story

Hello. Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. A group of us are riding 60 miles across East Anglia on Saturday 15 September.

Every year for over a decade an ever-changing band of cyclists has crossed East Anglia in aid of the Laura Case Trust. It's a wonderful charity that aims to help medical and educational projects both here and abroad. Since the ride began we've raised more than £35,000 for the Trust. A couple of years ago we raised enough to build half a toilet block at a hospital in Uganda; this year we're aiming to fund new emergency provision in and around Kampala

The Trust is a way of continuing Laura's work in rural healthcare in Africa, and especially in Uganda where she was working when she was killed in a traffic accident in 2007. Details of the Trust's work are at www.thelauracasetrust.org.

Having done the ride before, I can testify that East Anglia is not as flat as its reputation suggests! Please give us the boost we will almost certainly need by helping to support this fantastic cause.

Donating through this site is extremely simple and completely secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Laura Case Trust will receive your money quickly and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Thanks very much indeed for donating to such a good cause.
