Sophie's running again...

You might be aware that I planned to run the Southend Half Marathon on Sunday 12 June 2011 for the CF Trust, but unfortunately fell unwell prior to the event, therefore, was advised not to run.
My Dad, Peter, and I are running The Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon on Sunday 9 October 2011, to raise money for the CF Trust and, more importantly, in memory of a dear friend Hannah Lawrence, who died at Christmas last year aged just 23.
In spite of her CF, Hannah lived life to the full, never wasting a single day by bemoaning the fact that she had to suffer with this horrible disease spending many of her days in hospital, she still made a difference and never stopped smiling. Hannah was one of the bravest, most inspirational people I knew, who made a difference to so many lives. I’m one of the lucky people who had the privilege of knowing such an amazing person.
From this I have been inspired to achieve my ultimate dream and through courage, determination and motivation I will be running London Marathon next year - that will be for Hannah, too.
Please be as generous as you can - thank you.
My Dad and I have been lucky enough to gain a last minute charity place and in order for us to be able to run we have to raise £400 each.
