Fundraising for rehabilitation and name the pony

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Last week Hope Pastures was asked to admit an extremely thin male pony who had been found severely neglected at a dealers yard.
After his rescuer secured his future and brought him home it was quickly realised that he needed specialist care, he was desperately underweight, full of parasites and had a very abnormal pelvis , meaning that he needed help to stand.
His condition was so worrying that we didn't share his story right away as we feared that he wouldn't make it.
Our vet assessed the pony and aged him at not even 2 years old. His condition score ( a way of assessing how thin or fat a pony is), is only 2 out of 9.
And most worrying is that he has in the past had a break to his pelvis , probably from being kicked or stood on by another horse, which has been left untreated and he now needs specialist treatment to help him to regain his strength in his hind legs.
At not even 2 years old , what an horrific life this little man has had! But despite this he is so gentle and well behaved.
At the moment he is only picking at his feed as his appetite isn't great. But he loves his hay and his lovely deep straw bed. He really enjoys the heat of the heat lamp too and this helps to keep him warm as he has had to be clipped to treat the lice.
We haven't decided on a name for this beautiful little pony yet so any names suggested will be shortlisted by our staff and the final 10 will be drawn out of a bucket..
Let's give him a special name to take with him into his future and the funds raised will be used to pay for his feed, bedding, delousing and worming treatment, physio , passporting ,vaccinating , microchipping and, once he is strong enough, to be castrated.
