We support children and families in Ukraine to to cope with the ongoing conflict

Story

Would you like to help us raise some money for the Chernobyl Children's Lifeline charity?

This charity has supported over 46,000 children who live in an area of Belarus and Ukraine forever affected by the world's worst nuclear disaster. The charity’s support has allowed these children to visit the UK for recuperation breaks. During their visits they receive medical and dental care and are hosted by families who care, feed and clothe them whilst giving them an experience of a lifetime with lots of fun activities to do. Most importantly living for that short time away from the radiation, helps to build the immune system which could increase their chances of resisting the health issues many in their homeland suffer from.

This year my auntie and uncle are hosting a Fristmas (Fake Christmas) celebration  at their home in Suffolk for a group of children visiting in July and I am delighted to be going along to support this event.

These children come to the UK with nothing so it’s our hope to raise enough money to able to provide gifts for each child, their family and friends in their community. These gifts will include clothes, toiletries, toys and games etc.

Thank you in advance for your support.... we hope to give them a Fristmas to remember.
