My name is Lyra and I am 9 years old. I am raising money by selling Christmas cards I have drawn myself to help our planet.

Rainforest are homes for many animals and plants. They help to keep our planet healthy by absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen. They also help to control our climate and protect our future. 

Rainforest Concern helps to stop deforestation of endangered habitats. It costs £50 to sponsor an acre of rainforest and I would like to sponsor at least one acre. 

I am also asking for donations for Rainforest concern from my friends for my birthday.
