Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Myself & my partner Sean are doing a skydive to fundraise for Macmillan in the memory of my Nan, Sylvia Heasman.
I know everyone say's it but my Nan was truly one in a million & the biggest inspiration in my life. Even after battling cancer on and off for 24 years she never let the awful disease phase her, she never gave up with her saying always ringing true "there is no such thing as can't". She lived an amazing & fulfilling life with the love of her life (my Grandad, George) & the rest her caring family. Sadly, after already fighting & beating 3 rounds of cancer my Nan was diagnosed with terminal Bowel & Liver cancer, at this point is where Macmillan came in & started giving us their support.
Throughout my Nan's last battle with cancer the support that all of the family received from Macmillan was simply unbelievable & amazing. For my Nan, Macmillan could really not have done more. I can not express how helpful Macmillan were, everyone in the team made sure my Nan was always as comfortable as she could possibly be. Their support also to my Grandad was indescribable, it wasn't just professional but the nurses helped so much in a personal way too. To me this makes Macmillan and their teams stand out. Thank you Macmillan for everything you do!
