Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro · 16 August 2014

Moving Mountains is a progressive charity with over 15 years experience, run by teams who are highly experienced in the development sector. We fund social welfare, educational and health projects in Nepal and East Africa, where we have set up our own NGOs.

Story

So BASICALLY -

I am climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in August 2014 which is a masssivee deal seeing as I can hardly climb the average staircase without needing a break. I am doing this for the charity Moving Mountains which are an amazing charity dedicated to supporting long-term sustainable development in Kenya, Nepal and Borneo. To experience where this money is going I will be spending 5 days in Kenya before the climb to see how, and help with, how your amazing donations are spent.

I shall also be doing various activities throughout the year to motivate myself and make your donations worth your time.

Thank you for your genorosity crew, I'll tweet you when I've peaked (geddit?!)

The £2,300 being raised gets split into two categories:

The first is donated entirely to Moving Mountains charity,

The second contributes towards various expenses like various trek costs and staff wages that we encounter when we're out there.
