Story
As part of my second year architecture course I have chosen to help redesign and build a Crèche for the children of Mankweng in Limpopo province, South Africa.
Over the past semester we have been designing a fun and dynamic learning space for pre-school children. In April 2020, 40 of us will be heading out to South Africa to spend a month building the school we have designed.
This is a project in partnership with the Thusanang Trust. Our goal is to provide these children in rural South Africa with a good education whilst simultaneously allowing their parents to go to work and earn a living.
We take our education and learning in a safe environment for granted. Please help me work towards realising this goal for the children of Mahlalela's Crèche.
I’m looking to raise £1000 pounds towards the build, this will finance building materials and local construction, any donations will be highly appreciated.
