I am walking 84 miles the length of Hadrians wall from Newcastle to Carlisle in 6 days with my 2 lovely Sister in laws Claire and Mandy for Families of Ocean Ward, a charity close to our hearts.They support and care for the families of children born with heart conditions who undergo lifesaving surgery.We will be forever grateful to them for the support they have provided to our family, as well as others in need.

Our granddaughter,Isla, was born with multiple heart complications and the staff on E1 Ocean Ward provided the most outstanding care and support during the hardest time in my Son and  Daughter-in-law’s life.

Families of Ocean Ward also do their best to create a home from home environment for the families living on the ward throughout each child's unique journey.

Without the care of Ocean Ward and support of the charity, an already tough time would have been made even harder. We are forever grateful xx
