In memory of Lee Jesson

London Marathon 2018 · 22 April 2018 ·
In 2016 Lee came to watch me run the London marathon. I managed to inspire him to put in for the marathon himself! At the time he was visiting from Australia at the time with my partner's sister and their 2 young daughters. Tragically a few weeks later Lee died aged 42 and he was never able to fulfil his ambition of running the marathon. He caught a cold on the plane on the way over which developed into bronchile pneumonia and this overwhelmed his body. We asked Lucy's sister, Kate, who I should donate money to and she suggested the British lung foundation.
