Coniston Row Bike Hike · 13 June 2015

Sebastian’s Action Trust supports children with life-limiting conditions and those who love them. We help families navigate the emotional and practical difficulties that come with caring for a child with complex needs and provide a place where families can connect, relax and make precious memories.

Story

On 13th June 2015 our team are taking part in one of our most ambitious challenges yet! We will be rowing 1.5 miles across Coniston water, cycling 50 miles around some beautiful yet challenging Lake District roads and finishing our day with a 3-4 hour hike up and down 'The old Man'  of Coniston.
Sporting Footprints was set up to raise money for sport, lifestyle and leisure equipment and opportunities  for the families that use Bluebells Holiday home in Hampshire. Bluebells is funded by Sebastian's Action Trust and is the first purpose built holiday home for families of children with lifelong and life limiting illness. Through challenges and fun days in the last 3 years Sporting Footprints has been able to fund Specialised wheelchairs, sensory equipment, music/art therapy, family days out, dry suits , memorial books, remembrance garden and cinema tickets.
If you would like to sponsor us or any of our team for this challenge you would be allowing us to continue to support these special families.
Our team is as Follows: Cliff Gideon, Duncan Shorthouse, Matt Hart, Chris Killen, Matthew Ward, Tony Hart, Jamie Townson, Paul Goulding, Pete Townson, Nick White.
Please feel free to mention who you are sponsoring and help us get beyond our target!
Many thanks
Tony
