We are the local St Albans branch of Britain's largest cat charity, Cats Protection.  Our "patch" is post codes AL1-AL5, and as you can imagine this keeps us rather busy!  We rehome approximately 150 cats and kittens every year.  Every member of the branch is an unpaid volunteer, but as you can imagine we have costs such as cat food, litter, other equipment and let's not forget the vet bills.  Every cat we rehome is thoroughly vet-checked and given any necessary treatment before being adopted by people such as you!

We are fundraising to help cover these bills, particularly the vet bills, as this year we have had several cats which have needed extensive medical care whilst they were with us.  Every penny that you donate will go to the ongoing costs of caring for all the cats that come through our branch we are grateful for your donation.
