AEPi St Andrews - 24 Hour Beach Run

24 Hour Beach Run · 1 December 2015
We are the Alpha Epsilon Pi (AEPi) Fraternity Chapter at the University of St Andrews. A Jewish Fraternity which spans across universities in the USA, Canada, UK, France and Israel.
This is the second year that we have decided to do our charity beach run: a 24-hour relay across St Andrews' West Sands beach — made famous by the movie Chariots of Fire. This year's beach run will be in aid of Anthony Nolan and will require all of our group to run a combined 24 hours, from midday on the 1st December to midday on the 2nd December, through the dark of the night.
Anthony Nolan match incredible individuals willing to donate their blood stem cells or bone marrow to people who desperately need lifesaving transplants. They educate young people about the lifesaving difference they can make by joining their register and conduct groundbreaking research to improve the success rates of transplants and improve the lives of all people with blood cancer.
If we reach our target of £1000 we will also be throwing our president, Gabe Ross, into the cold North sea!
