Isold was born healthy and beautiful. She developed perfectly as joyful little girl until she was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome when she was 2 years old.

Isold progressively lost the ability to use her hands, to speak. She suffered from strong epilepsy and scoliosis. 

Isold was a happy, clever girl. She was going to school, she was learning to use her Tobii (eye-gazed computer).

With time, her ability to walk got poorer. Her epilepsy was never controlled despite of the incredible efforts of the Neurologist team from Kinderspital in Zurich.

On 30th March 2016, Isold took her wings and left us for a better life. She left us without notice. She had a massive epilepsy fit during the night.

No other Rett Girl, no other Rett Family should go through this. Ever.
