We're competing in the 2012 Chew Valley Bed Race. It's a race for teams of six pushing a bed (any bed!) from Bishop Sutton to Chew Stoke and back. Everyone dresses up, and decorates their bed, and there are crowds of spectators cheering everyone on. Water pistols might be involved... We are raising money for a much needed refurbishment for our very own Village Hall. It was originally constructed as a temporary building in the 1930s and is in a sorry state! We have ambitious plans to replace the corrogated panels with timber (won't that look great!) as well as complete redecoration and internal improvements.
