London to Brighton Cycle 2018 · 16 September 2018 ·

Established in 1995 to help children with special needs in the Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire region. Special Needs can be defined as a child that needs help or a group of children that need help, a child with a terminal illness or a with a special talent. Unlike many charities it operates with no admin expenses and all monies raised are utilised to support the children or their families.

Story

St Andrew's Woking has close ties with the Children with Special Needs Foundation and contributes to the charity annually with the proceeds of the House Charities Summer Fair.

This year, 15 members of staff ( and maybe more if we can twist their arms!) are aiming to ride the 54 miles from London to Brighton in September.

We are hoping to raise at least £4050 for this excellent charity, 100% of whose income is spent on a variety of equipment, respite and other personalised benefits for disadvantaged and disabled children in the Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire areas.

£4050 equates to £5 per rider per mile for the 54 miles from London to Brighton. Whether you can afford to support one rider for one mile or all 15 for 2 miles, all donations will be gratefully received.

We hope that you can support us.
