It aims to raise funds to build and run the St Chad's Centre, a building at the centre of Bishop's Tachbrook with facilities suitable for village meetings, meetings with councillors, police and youth groups, as well as coffee mornings, luncheons and church gatherings

Story

The St Chad's Runners are resting-up ahead of the 10km Two Castles Run on Sunday.  The team is keen to smash last year's records and add to the £125,000 so far raised to build and equip the St Chad's Centre.

We've some way to go, with £750,000 needed to create this much needed facility at the heart of our community.  To find out more about the project please visit http://www.bishopstachbrook.com/groups.php/st-chads-centre/17.

Jo & David Jordan, Kevin Pantling, Melissa Odling, Craig Brewster, Tom Leeke, Rufus Weston, Graham Leeke, Susan Watt and Ginny Lovell have done well getting in shape.

With a larger team of St Chad's Runners so far signed-up, we're hopeful of really giving the fundraising effort a boost. We'll be keeping the Just Giving page up to date with how our training is progressing and news on the support we are receiving.

Making a gift through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the St Chad's Centre account and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

In fact, for every £1 you give, 25p will be collected from the Inland Revenue, which will give our fundraising a real boost.

Also, the Rotary Club of Kenilworth add further support to our efforts by making a grant from the race proceeds of up to 20% of what we raise, so you can see, your sponsorship will attract so much more funding to boost our effort.

So please sponsor the St Chad's Runners and make every kilometre count. Thanks for all your support and encouragement.
