Story

20 years ago this year Louise and I lost our best friend Sarah to cancer.  She was only 23 years old and beautiful both inside and out.  We were like the 3 muskateers, we did everything together and we laughed, oh how we laughed. Sarah fought a brave battle, but heartbreakingly, it wasn't to be.  20 years on and Sarah is still very much in our thoughts and lives on in us everyday.

Sadly, 3 years ago after a very short illness, my Uncle Dod lost his battle with brain cancer.  I have so many fond memories of my uncle and he is hugely missed by all the family.

As such, Louise and I would like to do something positive in tribute to Sarah, and Uncle Dod whilst helping others who are at the end of their lives and in need of very special care.  Sarah and Dod spent a lot of time at Roxburghe House in the later stages of their illnesses and as such, we would like to donate as much money as we can to the Friends of Roxburghe House.

So between us we are going to run 100 competitive kilometres this year. We will update our progress on Facebook, starting with the Baker Hughes 10km run in May.
