Hi everyone,

A team of Dr's and nurses from 'Thomas Cook Critical Care Centre' at Kings College Hospital are taking part in the charity event 'It's a Knock Out' based on the TV program – Yes we are going to get wiped out!!!

We are raising money to develop the much needed adult trauma and intensive care services at Kings Hospital – a very worth while cause! If we manage to raise enough pennies then we can also have some money for our unit which would be brilliant. The Thomas Cook Critical Care Centre is a 16 bedded unit caring for children 0-16 years who are critical ill requiring a high level of care. We specialise in Liver and Neurology which means we regularly care for children post liver transplants and children who have had serious head injuries.

The team (Thomas Cookies) are willing to make complete fool's of ourselves to raise money for this good cause so pleeeeeease make a donation (however small) through the 'just Giving' page !!!
