Mark and I are running the Superhero Race in Greenwich Park on Sunday 13th June in memory of my grandad and in aid of the Alzheimers Society with Mark (brother) and Laura (friend and brother's partner).

Alzheimers is a very upsetting disease, not only for the person with it but also for their family.   My grandad had Alzheimers for at least three years and he died this January at the grand age of 90.   Grandad Fred was the greatest; he was an inspiration to me - he was just like the BFG and taught me to have fun in life.   I miss him very much.
