We have huge plans for the Stamford Unit garden. It has so much potential to help our patients in so many ways. As you can imagine the NHS can't provide all the funds to complete all our plan. I have manage to win some funds to get the ball rolling. We have also received some donations which has already started helping, mainly bird food and bird feeders.

Since covid we have noticed a huge decline in our patients mental health. Not being able to see friends and family. I believe the garden will help improve bring the patients together in a safe way e.g plenty of space, out in the open. Including the staff moral within the unit, as they will also use this area for lunches. Instead of being stuck in the staff room. The area will also have safe outdoor gym equipment, range of movement equipment, raised planters for patients to plant there own seeds, color, smells, musical instruments, picnic area, lights and lots more.
