What is it about the marathon? I keep saying 'never again' - but somehow I'm having my 3rd go! The long training runs and the physical exertion are out-weighed by the amazing atmosphere on the day - thousands of runners giving it their all, funrunner's crazy costumes, music and a constant trail of lively supporters - it is a wonderful community event for London!

I'm supporting Stop the Traffick, fighting to prevent Human Trafficking. See the link to their website below left.

Human Trafficking is to be bought, sold and transported into slavery for sexual exploitation or enforced labour. Victims suffer physical abuse, fear, torture and threats to families to break their spirits and turn them into saleable commodities.  It is a growing problem in our world. More than one person is trafficked every minute, and the trade earns twice as much world-wide revenue as Coca Cola!
