Story
Cardiff Blues launched the #StayStrongForOws fundraising and awareness campaign in 2014 and continue to urge the rugby world to unite together in support of injured player Owen Williams.
Wales international Owen Williams suffered a significant injury to his cervical vertebrae and spinal cord while playing for Cardiff Blues in June 2014 in the World Club 10s in Singapore.
Owen remains at the Welsh Spinal Injuries and Neurological Rehabilitation Unit at Rookwood Hospital in Cardiff as he continue his long-term rehabilitation and recovery.
Thousands of messages of support and offers of help from around the world have poured in to Cardiff Blues since he was injured and have been a huge source of inspiration for Owen, his family and friends.
The region launched the #StayStrongForOws campaign for the 2014/15 season and beyond, encouraging rugby fans to stand together as one and show their support for Owen through a series of fundraising initiatives.
Cardiff Blues joined forces with the Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust to ensure they can raise valuable funds to help and support Owen in the long-term as he continues his recovery from such a serious injury.
I am showing my support by taking part in the #StayStrongForOws Bike Ride between Cardiff and Paris this June.
