My wonderfully humorous and feisty mother in law passed away on Tuesday ( 21/5 ) but lived to the ripe old age of 92. Throughout her years she remained totally independent and was a very proud , no fuss lady. 

She did however, in the last 2 years of her life, suffer terribly from Scleroderma. This is a rare, chronic disease of the immune system, blood vessels & connective tissue that affects appx 2.5m people around the world with about 19,000 in the UK suffering. 

She found this terribly frustrating as it affected the dexterity of her hands and fingers and towards the end, her hands were all but useless. 

This page has been created not only to help raise £1000 for this charity fighting this illness, but also to raise its profile and make people aware of it. Thank you for giving.
