Whatever your nationality, age, or religion, women have to be free to express themselves and be themselves: freedom of expression in the workplace, of feelings, within their family, in life in general, without the risk of abuse or violence.  We believe in our freedom as women. We fight for our rights. We want to help other women who are in a distressed situation.  My sister is walking for this cause, with her hand held by God. We are fighting for our right to be women. Our target of £6,000 could pay the rent for one year at one of our safe houses in Ethiopia where women, like Sirgut, flee from violence. It could also pay for business management training for almost 600 safe house residents! The ability to earn an independent income is crucial to a future free from violence for many of the women we support. You can read some of their stories here.
