Hi,  My name is Stella.  On August 11th 2013, I'm taking part in a beauty pageant that supports the Headway Brain Injury Association.  Fundraising was optional and as I read about their fantastic work, I came up with a sponsored walk, from Hastings Pier to Eastbourne Pier.

A little about me

I'm happily married to Tim, who encouraged me to take part in Face of the World Beauty Pageant, as it's been a few years since i did any modelling!  I thought after having my 4 beautiful children, that part of my life was over - however Tim thought I could do it & so it began.  After reading about how much money they raise for Headway Brain Injury, I wanted to show my support & came up with a sponsored walk.  I have a rallied around some friends to join me & hopefully raise as much money as possible. 

Here is a list of what your money will do:

• To increase awareness of brain injury and its consequences
• To initiate activities and campaigns which will reduce the incidence of brain injury
• To provide information and support for people with brain injuries, their relatives and carers and concerned professional people
• To promote improved approaches to brain injury screening, acute care, assessment, rehabilitation and social re-integration
• To assist people with brain injuries to return to community living, including access to appropriate accommodation, social outlets, and productive activity
• To support and help to establish Headway groups throughout the UK in furtherance of the charity's mission statement
