Story

DUE TO LOCKDOWN WE WILL MOVING THIS TO JANUARY 2021, THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT.

DUE TO GYM CLOSURE WE HAVE ADAPTED THIS TO RUNNING WITH ALL TEAMS OF 3 LOOKING TO RUN 300K.

We are a fitness club in Bidford-on-Avon and we have 9 teams of 3 taking part on a 1 month challenge throughout November. We are looking to row at least 1.5 million meters (approx 55,000 metres each person) on top of our normal workouts.

The owner of our box (club) has recently lost his Uncle (his dads twin) Roger after a 5 year battle with PSP (progressive supranuclear palsy). Throughout lockdown they took care of him at the Shakespeare hospice whilst his wife unable to visit him and was ill herself. They have continued to support his auntie Doreen following Rogers passing.

As a close community of fitness enthusiasts we want to take on this challenge to raise money and awareness for this amazing local charity.
