Bluebell 10 Mile Trail Run · 5 May 2019
Join us for a lunchtime run they said. Easy 3 miles they said. Great way to build your confidence after a baby they said. What's not to love about a work running club? I'll tell you. Somehow, within a very short period of time, we were signed up to run 10 miles around hilly Halifax. Including Trooper Lane. You know the one, so vertical it looks like a wall. (Really, if you don't know it, have a Google.) But it's for a great reason. We're all running to support our amazing former colleague Jocy who is undertaking a year of challenges to raise funds for mental health charities.
It's all come around rather quickly and the planned four training runs a week never quite materialised. But I'm going for it anyway and it would be brilliant to have the carrot of some £ for local mental health charities to see me to the finish. Can you spare a couple of quid?
If you want to find out more about Jocy, sponsor her instead (really, do it) or learn about the other incredible challenges she's undertaking this year, take a look at her page https://m.facebook.com/profile.php?id=293065887986643&ref=content_filter
