Stephen's Fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support

Macmillan cancer support offer an amazing service and support network to so many, however as with many charities they struggle financially to meet the requirements to help everyone.
Unfortunately, when my father was ill we didn't get the support that many others get and I decided to help where I could to ensure that others have the opportunity to get the support from this amazing charity.
I will try to organise as many events as I can to help raise money in the future to reach (and hopefully exceed) my target of £500 year.
I will be leaving my role as Director at BeNCH CRC to join the NPS as a Head of Operations. Instead of asking for a leaving collection I would like to ask colleagues to donate to Macmillan cancer research if they so choose.
My story like so many others involves my dad being taken from his family after being diagnosed with cancer.
Because of this cruel illness he never got to see his granddaughter Eva be accepted into Cambridge University this year.
He was always proud of me and encourage me to be the best I could be. I wish I could have the opportunity to tell him about my new job as he always believed in me and I know he would be proud.
Macmillian is a fantastic charity helping individuals and families fight this illness every single day - so please support this cause.
Thanks Ste (my dad used to call me Ste)
