This year I turn 40 and to celebrate this I thought it would put myself through a marathon and in the process try to raise some much needed funds for the ISPCC (Childline).

Childline is a national charity dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and young people, they are at the heart of everything they do. Their mission is to listen to children, empower them, strengthen their resilience, and enable them to live their best possible lives. Childline is available at any time, 24/7, it’s the largest children’s support service available. They are always on, always there, whenever a child needs to get in touch, and however they find that safest and easiest.

Their vision is that every child and young person in Ireland has access to the relevant supports to afford them the opportunity to reach their full potential.
