After hearing about our good friend Martin Roddy being diagnosed with inoperable brain tumours and the way that he and his wife Tessa have jointly stood up to the battle (which is what anyone who knows the Roscommon Roddy's would expect!) both Sue and I wanted to do something to help.
I've asked Tessa to nominate a charity that her and Martin would like me to raise money for and they suggested the Warrington Wolves foundation, quite apt as it was through the wire that we all met. 
I'm going to call the ride the "Roscommon Roddy challenge"
