In 2015 Kind will be 40 years old - an incredible achievement for a small local charity and a testament to the commitment and tenacity of Stephen Yip and his  staff.  Dominique  Bertrand & Steve Collett, swimming buddies who use the  local University of Liverpool Sports Centre pool, want to raise money in recognition of this achievement and to provide Kind with a contribution to their Christmas appeal.  Kind will then be able to help families across Merseyside who will face the most difficulties and challenges at this time of the year.

Our target is the equivalent of us both swimming 2.5K (100 lengths) each week day over 10 weeks commencing the 6th October 2014. The overall distance is the equivalent of swimming to Belfast but without having to dodge the waves, ferries, jelly fish and the cold!!!  However, it's still the same distance and requires commitment to get to the pool each day for 10 weeks!!! We will post regular progress bulletins here and will keep a full record of the swim endorsed by lifeguards at the University of Liverpool Sports Centre.
