Story
In January 2015 my nephew, Romeo Hadley, was taken ill with a rare blood disorder, Purpura Fulminans. He was rushed to A+E at UHW where the blood had clotted in the small vessels in his legs, spreading over his backside. 3 days later, due to the severity and irreversible nature of the disorder, Romeo had no option but to endure a lengthy operation to remove both his legs in order to save his life. In the February, after a spell in Bristol Children's hospital, Romeo was then transferred to Noahs Ark charity hospital, University Hospital of Wales where he spent the next several months. Romeo continues to adapt to his new life and never ceases to amaze everybody who knows him due to his courage and determination.
