Great Wall of China trek with Traveleyes · 2 September 2019

Our work can give the joy of independence, help people with disabilities reach their potential and achieve ambitions thought to be impossible. Our 900 skilled volunteers design and make or adapt equipment to do just the job our clients want it to do and everything is provided free of charge.

Story

May 2020 will be great opportunity for me to continue my
travels with blind and visually impaired people, and at the same time, help charities that I am personally involved with.

Remap is a national charity that helps disabled people achieve independence and a better quality of life by designing and making equipment for their individual needs.   http://www.remap.org.uk

The charity works through local groups of skilled volunteers. The custom-made equipment helps people to carry out essential daily tasks without having to ask for help, or helps them take part in leisure occupations or sports that would otherwise be impossible.
