As you're perhaps aware, my life-partner Jenny Jermy passed away in October 2018, having been diagnosed with lung cancer 18 months earlier.

St. Catherine's Hospice provided valuable therapy during Jenny's illness and ultimately provided skilled medical care and compassionate support to Jenny and our family in her last days.

As a charity, St. Catherine's Hospice, needs to raise a huge £3.5m of its annual £5.2m running costs each year. Jen and I loved walking together and undertaking this trek seems a fitting way to commemorate her, whilst helping to raise much-needed funds for the invaluable work of the hospice.

All my trekking costs (flights, accommodation, food, insurance etc.) will be met personally by me, so all funds raised will directly benefit the hospice and the community it serves so well.
