Stephen Goves is raising money for The Chestnut Appeal for Men's Health

Looe Island swim 2022 · 4 September 2022 ·

The Chestnut Appeal for Men's Health fundraises for nurses, equipment and treatment, as well as providing, awareness campaigns on prostate cancer, the most common cancer in men, right across Devon and Cornwall. We also raise awareness of testicular cancer and penile cancer in our communities.

Story

Hi there,

I have decided to take part in the Looe Island Swim, an open water charity swim from Looe Island to Looe beach (just over a mile) on Sunday 4th September in support of the Chestnut Appeal for Men's Health (see link on this page). If successful, I would hope to do this each year for what is clearly a great cause.

If you would like to support me and the appeal, in my inaugural swim, by making a small donation, then thank you very much. I will keep you updated with how I get on.

Chestnut Appeal for Men's Health

Raising awareness is at the heart of everything we do, as well as this, with funds raised by YOU, we support our hospitals by purchasing the very latest equipment and treatments that perhaps aren’t available in the region. We have a unique geography, so our work is often unique, to help more men than ever before, we’re also building an online community, reaching more men in the community who need help and support during and after their cancer treatments. ‬We want men and their families to know that we’re here for as long as you need us!
