My Dad sadly lost his battle with COVID after a 3 week battle. He had no underlying conditions and the consultant said he was one of the unlucky ones.

My Dad was a gentle giant and one of the kindest you could wish to meet and would have given you his last penny.

Dad loved spending time with his family and making memories together especially on holidays. He would regularly join in playing football in the park with both his Grandsons.

He was a lifelong Nottingham Forest supporter and was a season ticket holder for over 40 Years.

We chose MIND as this is close to the family hearts and have witnessed first hand how important the support is for mental health. My Dad struggled for over 10 Years with depression and anxiety. In those days there wasn't much support and very little help if he needed it. Now with charities like MIND it's much easier to access the help and support when suffering with depression and anxiety.

We will all miss him so much. xx
