So I will be running the Bupa Great Edinburgh Run in cricket whites and full batting gear including legguards, gloves, bat and maybe a box! I am putting myself through this to raise much needed funds for the mighty Carlton Cricket Club. At Carlton we are trying to raise £30,000 for a new practice facility which is long overdue. Many many people will benefit from this new facility including all 170 of our junior members.
