Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2013 I have decided to put myself through a year of endurance hell to raise money for Sparks.

TRIATHLON: I start on May 19th with the first of THREE full Olympic length triathlons. If you're not familiar with the format, it's a 1,500m open water swim, straight on to the bike for 40km, all topped off with a 10km run.

BIKE MARATHON: On August the 4th I will be taking on the inaugural RideLondon 100 cycle race. Starting at the Olympic Park, we'll be taking on 100 MILES of closed roads (including the infamous Box Hill) before finishing on The Mall.

TOUGH MUDDER: As if that weren't enough, I'll then be taking on not one but two Tough Mudders (up north on September 7th, down south on the 14th). Tough Mudder events are 10-12 mile obstacle courses designed by British Special Forces to test all round strength, stamina, mental grit and camaraderie. My team & I will face mud, fire, ice-water, 12 foot walls, mud tunnels and 10,000 volt shocks. Then we'll have a beer.

This is all in addition to more fundraising with Sparks through their golf days, dinners and other events. Stewart Golf has long been a supporter of Sparks and this will continue for 2013.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now! Even if it's just £1, it'll make a difference.
