In the Spring of 2012 my mum gave me the awful news that she had breast cancer. I was devastated and didn't know what to do, I felt helpless. My mums a character and, true to form, bounced back from the many lows with positive ideas. Last year she and her business partner launched Brave Ladies, a mastectomy swimwear company to help others feel confident and continue a positive battle with cancer. I couldn't help with her battles but decided I could help in other ways by training and fighting in a charity boxing match, with Ultra White Collar boxing, in order to raise cash and awareness for cancer. I have enjoyed the training for this fight and I hope you can help with the cause as it affects us all on some level in our lives.
