Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

200 miles by Strengths Partnership is a campaign that we are running to raise money for our charity partner, the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund UK.

We are celebrating our 10 year anniversary this year and the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund UK are celebrating their 20th anniversary. We've done a little maths with the numbers and in celebration of 10 and 20 awesome years of existence, have ended up with a milestone number of 200 (10 years x 20 years).

Over the course of 2016 and up until mid 2017, the Strengths Partnership team are committing to running 200 miles between them (that's 321.9 km) , in aid of our charity partner. As of 10th October, the team are already at 189 miles!

Paul and Ant ran the London to Brighton 100km Challenge, in 20 hours last year and are running the Surrey half marathon on the 12th March 2017. James has run the Oxford half-marathon and also plans to run the Bath and Edinburgh half marathons this year after completing the Paris marathon in April. We've got a few more team members who will be joining them throughout these 18 months in other races.

The Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund is currently raising funds for their various projects across South Africa. Read more about their amazing work here: http://www.mandela-children.org.uk/our-work/ or follow them on twitter @NMCF
