Story

2 days, 155 miles, 9279 feet of hill climbing. I am cycling coast to coast from St. Bees to Robin Hoods Bay on 10/11 August 2012.

I am taking part in this challenge in memory of Adam Hughes who lost his life at 26. Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS) is the unexpected death of adults often during sleep.

I only new Adam for a short time but it didn't take me long to realise he was a great lad. His energy and positive outlook on life is what I remember most about Adam, not forgetting his truly unique dance moves. He also captained our Sunday football team and his words of encouragement both on and off the field always helped motivate the lads. It was a pleasure to play with such a committed and talented footballer.

Please dig deep and donate to a great charity.
