Woking & Sam Beare Hospice is a charity that delivers specialist palliative care to adult patients of all ages who have life-limiting and terminal illnesses in the North West Surrey region, providing free of charge holistic care and support services both in our hospice and in homes.

Story

We supported last years event from the sidelines as the runners ran past our front door. Shortly afterwards, someone who shall remain nameless, Gary, threw out a challenge to run the 2015 race rather than just spectate. Having never even run for a bus in the last 20 years that was some challenge!

Well, here we are, 8 months and over 350 km (over 220 miles in old money) later, race day is drawing closer and it looks like I will actually be able to run it!

So I've done my bit, now it's your turn to dig deep and give what you can to support my effort, all in aid of Woking Hospice. My target of £500 pays for 24 hours of care on the ward for one patient.

Thanks for any support you can give. Stu
