It is fair to say that i am not the svelte young man I used to be. My backside touches the floor however my stomach does act as a great counterbalance and I dream of completing the Great North Run in days rather than hours but this needs to be done. Time to step up.

I and my chosen charity need your help. 

I have chosen with other colleagues to run for The Butterwick Hospice. Web site is http://www.butterwick.org.uk/ . The reason i have chosen to run for this charity is they are loosing government funding and rely heavily on donations from businesses and volunteers. I have friends who have had to call on their services and also my dad uses respite facilities as my mum is disabled.

You may wonder why I have a picture of my children. They are my motivation and hopefully i never have to call on the services of the Butterwick, but so many parents and loved ones do.

So please dig deep and donate now. Thanks very much and by doing this, you are also helping me to raise pounds and at the same time lose them.
