I am running the London marathon for the cats protection as they are a fantastic charity giving thousands of cats and kittens a second chance throughout the uk.

Cats Protection is a cause close to our family. My wife Livvy has worked for the cats protection for six years and volunteered for a further seven. She now currently runs the charity shop at the Isle of Wight Adoption centre. I often accompany her to the shop or to cat socialisation at the centre. The staff there are currently all close friends and they do a fantastic job rehoming sick, injured and unwanted cats. Cats Protection would not be able to do the work they do without donations from members of the public.

We have had numerous rescue cats in our family and currently have Bertie who was tied up in a carrier bag and Guy who was a stray living under a shed. Both came from cats protection and are now loving their lives ! 

I have always wanted to do the marathon and am hoping I can fulfill my goal in under five hours and raise money for a great cause at the same time.
