<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>I am&nbsp;taking part in&nbsp;the Great North Run 2011 to raise funds for Northumbria University's IDEALS Advanced Zambia Project, in partnership with UK Sport and Sport in Action Zambia. This project&nbsp;offers students the opportunity to work in the Zambian capital of Lusaka &ndash; making a difference to children and young people blighted by poverty and serious illness.</p> <p>Working alongside students from partner Universities, Northumbria volunteers raise money to finance their trip to Africa before engaging in a number of worthwhile projects in Zambia.</p> <p>Your support would be much appreciated. I ran my first Great North Run in 1994 - This is only my second time.</p>
