Nightingale House offers a wide range of facilities to local people and their families living with life-limiting illness. Patients come from Wrexham, Flintshire, Denbighshire and outlying areas. In 2025 it will cost £5,603,094 million to run the Hospice - this equates to nearly £15,351 per day.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

In August 2007 my Grandad John lost his battle with cancer & in his final few weeks he was cared for by the amazing staff at Nightingale House Hospice. The hospice relies on donations to provide the services it does & 80% of the cost of running their services come through donations.

It is my chance now older & maybe a little wiser to give something back not only in memory of Johnny but to raise awareness of how much it costs to provide services at such a wonderful Hospice.

Please donate however large or small as I take on my biggest physical challenge yet for such a great personal cause.
