I've not had the opportunity to take part in a charity event as yet.  When I heard about the Acorn's charity...It really struck a chord.  During the first year of Roop's life, his prognosis was so bleak and we were told to expect the worst.  Fortunately we are in a position to be far more optimistic about Roop's future now, but sadly many families that Acorn's supports cannot say the same.  Acorn's children's hospice provide care and support for children and young people who have life limiting or life threatening conditions across the heart of England.This inspirational event aims to remind the community how a good night’s sleep for families with a life limited child is hard to achieve, and that Acorns round-the-clock support is often a lifeline.  PLEASE sponsor me to raise money towards such a worthy cause!
